'You are the apple of His eye': Trump receives prophecy and blessing while attending church service

A church in Las Vegas, Nevada welcomed President Donald Trump to their morning worship on Sunday. During the course of the service, leaders from the International Church of Las Vegas (ICLV) issued Trump with a word of prophecy and blessing ahead of the upcoming Presidential election.

At one point, Senior Pastor Denise Goulet declared that God would give the president a "second win" because he has been "trained in high-pressure places over the last four years".

"There's also this - a second wind...the Holy Spirit," Goulet told the President. "The Lord showed me today that you are going to get a second wind...another in-filling of the Holy Spirit...because the Holy Spirit makes you able to finish, to take this to the end, Mr President."

"Then, he said to me you are the apple of His eye," Goulet continued. "He is protecting you like he is protecting the ancient foundations of our nation. God wants to be in the middle of our nation."

The church then came together to pray for and bless Trump, who was in attendance alongside his senior counselor Hope Hicks, press secretary Kayle McEnany and a whole raft of secret service agents who were dotted around the sanctuary.

"We thank you for our president, his wife and his entire family...and vice president Pence and his entire family," ICLV pastor Pasquale Urrabazo prayed. "We bless them. May the spirit of the Lord rest upon them...the fear of the Lord, because he [Trump] loves you. He [Trump] said the other day, 'Jesus Christ is the most popular person on earth.'"

"You honoured the Lord there and said he's your boss," Goulet interjected, referring to a remark that Trump made at a recent campaign rally in North Carolina - insisting that only Jesus Christ was more famous than him.

"Someone said to me the other day, 'You're the most famous person in the world by far.' I said, 'no I'm not.’ ... They said, 'Who's more famous?' “I said, 'Jesus Christ,'" Trump exclaimed.

At one point during the service in Las Vegas, the president was spotted taking a stack of twenty-dollar bills out of his pocket and putting them in the offering basket.

Despite the clear adulation shown toward Trump during the service, Pastor Marc Goulet insisted he was not "being political”.

"The Bible says give honour to whom honour is due,” he said. “I'm honouring our president right now because he's done the right thing.”
