WATCH: 'I do not cooperate with Gestapo': Canadian pastor chases health authorities out of church for second time

by Kelly Valencia

A Canadian pastor has confronted health authorities and police officers for a second time this month after complaints had been made about his church defying coronavirus restrictions.

Earlier this month, pastor Artur Pawlowski, from the Cave of Adullam Church in Alberta, Canada, went viral after chasing health authorities out of the church building by referring to them as "Nazis" and "Gestapo".

During the first encounter, pastor Pawlowski asked them to leave the building and come back with a warrant. This time, the woman representing the health authorities, who appears to be the same woman from the previous encounter, comes back with a warrant and tries to explain why she is there.

"What we want to do is make sure that we're not going to disrupt anything or the service," the health authority said.

But pastor Pawlowski told her to make an appointment and contact his lawyer.

"You can contact my lawyer. Okay, my lawyer takes care of this. I am not interested to listen to any word you have to say. I do not cooperate with the Gestapo. I do not talk to the Nazis," pastor Pawlowski replied.

Once the interaction is over, health authorities and police officers leave the premises while pastor Pawlowski shouts: "You are sick. That's what you are. right for you. So you change your uniforms to black? Because you're exactly. I think like the Gestapo, of old. Sickening".

The video continues with pastor Pawlowski turning the camera on himself, accusing officials "to have an agenda" as they chose to visit the church during a church service.

"They could come any day of the week, they could call me. They could say: 'hey, we want to inspect your facility. We want to come.' No, no, they want to do it during the church service because they have a purpose. They have an agenda. If you are not seeing it, then you're playing either stupid, blind and deaf. I have been warning you for 16 years about what is coming and it's here. And it is up to you, either you're going to keep pushing as hard as you can, or you're going to be swallowed by those people."

Neither Calgary Police or Health Authorities have released a statement about the incident.

Pawlowski is now the second Canadian pastor to confront authorities over coronavirus restrictions after pastor James Coates spent time in jail for defying church gathering rules.
