The International Baptist Church in the Belgium capital told Premier it will mark one year since bombers blew themselves up in the departure hall of Zaventem Airport and at Maelbeek subway station.
Speaking to Premier, Pastor Roland Eskinazi said the city is a different place, explaining: "There are more soldiers around, perhaps a little less than there were last year but they're still there in important positions, important buildings.
"There's a sense that life is not the same. You just have to be careful."
Islamic State group claimed responsibility for the attack which left more than 300 people wounded and around 900 when some kind of physical or mental trauma.
King Philippe and Queen Mathilde (pictured at the top of the article) joined prime minister Carles Michel, airport staff and rescue crews during commemorations at Zaventem, where Philippe laid a wreath.
Elsewhere, a service is also being held at Maelbeek station, while a new memorial is going to be officially unveiled in the city's European quarter.
Still on its second-most severe alert level since the attacks, Belgium considers the possibility of another attack possible and likely but not immediate.
Pastor Eskinazi went on to say: "As a result of what has happened here in Belgium, as a church we have now a security team. So, every Sunday there's a group of people who've got their eyes open. You can only minimise risk."
