Award winning singer-songwriter John Legend has been cast to the lead role in a new big budget TV version of Jesus Christ Superstar.
US network NBC will broadcast the live show on Easter Sunday next year.
It will be filmed in Brooklyn, New York and will be presented as a concert.
The show follows similar TV musicals Sound of Music, Peter Pan and Hairspray which have all been broadcast by the network in recent years.
It's already been confirmed that rock star Alice Cooper will take on the role of King Herod in the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical.
More high-profile stars of stage and screen are expected to be named for the show in the coming weeks.
