Epstein smiles through 'Devil himself' question in newly released interview

by Anna Rees Green

A video released in the White House’s latest batch of Epstein files shows convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein being asked whether he is “the Devil himself”.

The footage shows a two-hour long interview – for which no context was given – wherein Epstein is questioned over his finances. The man behind the camera is thought to be Steve Bannon, speaking with Epstein after his first stint in prison for sex offences.

“Is your money dirty money?” the interviewer asks.

Epstein suggests that his money has been put to good use, and gives the example of polio vaccines. He then begins to suggest that parents would be grateful to whoever paid for their child’s vaccine, even if it were “the Devil himself".

“Do you think you’re the Devil himself?” the person behind the camera interjects.

“No, but I do have good mirror,” says Epstein.

“It’s a serious question,” responds the interviewer. “You have all the attributes, the Devil is smart… you’ve read Milton’s Paradise Lost…”

“The Devil is what?” exclaims Epstein in response, before muttering: “Nah, the Devil scares me.”

“Satan was the number one or number two archangel,” says the interviewer. “And the reason he leads the rebellion is because he can’t be the top guy. His thing is: ‘I’d rather reign in hell than serve in heaven.”

Epstein smiles, before seemingly wrapping up the interview: “I saw that in a movie once… okay, we have to go.”

The video has been labelled a deepfake by some, whilst others have suggested it shows a “demonic” side to Epstein’s character.
