More than half the population in the Central African Republic risks going hungry as a result of instability and violence across the country.
Catholic and Muslim aid agencies are working in partnership in the state, where 54% are affected by the crisis and 35% are in urgent need of food.
The warning comes after a joint mission by CAFOD, Islamic Relief, Muslim Aid and the Muslim Charities Forum to assess the scale of the humanitarian crisis.
