The wife of bestselling author, theologian and pastor Tim Keller has thanked people for their outpouring of love and support, citing recent “remarkable improvement” in her husband’s health.
Keller, who was diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer in March last year, started a new round of chemotherapy last week.
The father of three, whio lives in New York City, has been updating fans regularly with news of his progress via the social media platform.
His wife Kathy, with whom he co-authored the book 'The Meaning of Marriage', has written on Twitter “through God’s mercy and your prayers, there has been remarkable improvement in the last 18 months. In fact, his doctors are using words like ‘fantastic’ and ‘dramatic’ to describe his progress.”
She asked people to keep on praying as he undergoes treatment, for “continued improvement with even fewer side effects”.
Keller is the founder of Redeemer Presbyterian Church and Redeemer City to City, a leadership development organisation set up to support church leaders.
