Warnings of a "desperate shortage" of Primary school places

There are concerns up to a quarter of a million children in England won't be able to secure a place at primary school in two year's time. The Local Government Association says more than 83,000 extra places need to be created in London alone by 2017. It adds that many schools are having to convert spaces like libraries and music rooms into classrooms.

Clive Ireson is from the Association of Christian Teachers.
