Trump supporters' 'Trust Jesus' bus crashes hours before rally

by Lydia Davies

A trailer adorned with MAGA merchandise, said to be owned by two avid Trump supporters, was completely wrecked in a traffic collision on Staten Island, NYC, on Sunday.

The vehicle, decorated with 'Trust Jesus' posters and slogans, hit a utility pole just hours before a nearby rally for the former president was scheduled to begin.

The crash happened near where Trump was recently convicted on 34 felony counts, with his sentencing scheduled for 11 July.

The New York Post reported that two individuals were in the bus at the time of the accident, resulting in minor injuries for one man.

The Daily Beast reported that Donna Eiden and Rocky Granata, passionate Trump supporters known for selling MAGA merchandise nationwide, were the owners of the trailer.

The rally, although not featuring Trump himself, was promoted by former New York mayor and Trump supporter Rudy Giuliani and expected to draw other right-wing celebrities.
