by Tola Mbakwe

The founder of Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) explained how thankful he is to have recovered so quickly on The 700 Club programme.

He said: "I am grateful for the expressions of love and concern that have come toward me from all around the world, and I am thankful that I have received what amounted to a miraculous healing instead of what could have been a crippling illness.

"I am delighted to be back on the air to fulfil my life calling."

On 2nd February, the 87-year-old was admitted to hospital after his daughter-in-law recognised the symptoms of stroke.

Robertson's son, Gordon, said within ten minutes of receiving medicine the medicine tPa, his father was awake, responsive and able to move all of his limbs, with the neurologist declaring the rapid recovery a "tPA miracle".
