A brush fire near pastor Rick Warren's Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California, broke out over the weekend.
Fire crews responded to the blaze at approximately 12:59 pm on Sunday in the area of Portola and Rancho Parkways, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.
It was extinguished on Sunday 6th October, after growing to 2.81 acres (approximately 122,000 square feet).
Authorities later determined that the fire had been intentionally set, leading the Orange County Sheriff’s Department to take one individual into custody.
No further details about the suspect or the investigation were available as of Sunday afternoon.
