A song written for the Stop the Genocide campaign was picked to win the Song for a Cause category over the weekend.
Channel of Peace was created by Premier Gospel featuring Tessa E to draw attention to persecution all over the world.
More than 200 entries were collected for the awards which celebrates Christian and Gospel music.
The song was picked by a judging panel of 17 made up of film makers, media experts from the Christian music scene and television producers.

The Christian station also won an award at the Exploit 2016 awards.
The largest Christian organisation for the Latin American Church in North America awarded Premier Gospel the Best Radio Station award.
Its ministry serves the Hispanic community in the USA.
