Religious leaders will join the country's royal family and government ministers at the event where a minutes silence will be held.
The aircraft was shot down on July 17 as it flew from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur but both rebels and their supporters in Russia deny any involvement.
Some bodies are still unaccounted for although the majority have been flown home.
In total 298 people were killed, including 10 Brits.
This weekend churches across the Netherlands said prayers in advance of the service.
Father Julius Dresme's parish in the town of Hilversum lost three entire families.
He told Premier it was a very important day.
"We are supporting the relations and the relatives in the grief and Dutch society does not forget those who are mourning for the dead people."
He added that even non-Christians had been coming to his church to pray.
"They pray in the masses and in the services for their families who died, for them it's really important.
"Most of them are not religious," he said.
