Pope urges rest on Sunday

Francis spoke about his time growing up in the country, the importance of family life and resting on a Sunday.

According to Viva he said: "The Romans have a saying, which can be taken as a point of reference, live and let live.

"That's the first step to peace and happiness."

The Holy Father said it was important for young parents to find the time to play with their children in a wide ranging interview.

He also mentioned how important it was for young people to find a purpose in life and urged others to help them find work.

"I read the other day, but I do not telegraph it as a scientific fact, that there were 75 million young people under the age of 25 unemployed," he said.

He said it was vital they had the "dignity of bringing home the bacon".
