Andrej Kiska will also meet the Vatican's Secretary of State Pietro Parolin and President of Italy Sergio Mattarella.
The Slovak Spectator reported that the President's office released a statement that said: "Official visit of Andrej Kiska to the Vatican confirms the high level of relations between Slovak Republic and the Vatican as well as [relationship between] the state and the Catholic Church in Slovakia."
The visit aims to look at the rapport between the Church and Slovakia and investigate how and where it can be improved.
President Kiska is also due to discuss bilateral agreements with the Italian President, the European agenda and matters of the Eurozone. Other topics on the agenda include Ukraine and the EU southern neighbour policy.
