Wednesday 23 September

2:15 p.m - Welcoming ceremony at the White House. Speech from Pope Francis followed by meeting with the President of the United States.

4pm - Pope meets with the bishops of the United States in St. Matthew's Cathedral and delivers a speech.

9:15 p.m - Mass for the canonization of Blessed Fr. Junipero Serra at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.

 
Thursday 24 September

2:20 p.m - Pope Francis addresses the United States Congress

4:15 p.m - Visits St. Patrick's parish and meets a group of homeless people

9:00 p.m - Departs from Washington, D.C.

10:00 p.m - Arrives at JFK Airport in New York City.

11:45 p.m - Pope celebrates Vespers at St. Patrick's Cathedral.

 
Friday 25 September

1:30 p.m - Address at the United Nations

4:30 p.m - Pope visits Ground Zero Memorial site and delivers a speech.

9:00 p.m - Pope visits "Our Lady, Queen of Angels" school and meet with families of immigrants in Harlem.

11:00 p.m - Mass in Madison Square Garden. Homily by Pope Francis.

 
Saturday 26 September

2:30 p.m - Arrives at Philadelphia International Airport.

3:10 p.m - Mass with the bishops, clergy and men and women religious in the Cathedral of Sts. Peter and Paul in Philadelphia.

9:45 p.m - Meeting with the Hispanic community and other immigrants.

00:30 a.m - Speech to the World Meeting of Families in Philadelphia.

2:15 p.m. - Meeting with the bishops invited to the World Meeting of Families.

4:00 p.m - Visit to the prisoners at the Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility, Philadelphia. Speech from Pope Francis.

9:00 p.m - Mass at the World Meeting of Families in Philadelphia. Homily delivered by Pope Francis.
