Planned Parenthood abortion website 'hacked'

The incident comes after a video appeared to show an executive of the US abortion provider discuss the sale of organs from an aborted foetus.

It seemingly showed Dr Deborah Nucatola from Planned Parenthood talk about the sale of hearts, livers and lungs from aborted foetuses whilst eating a salad and drinking wine.

Planned Parenthood denied allegations that it's harvesting and trafficking aborted foetuses' organs.

Last night it was claimed the organisations website was hacked into and databases including names and email addresses of employees had been taken.

The data has not been released.

A group of anti-abortion campaigners claimed responsibility for the hack.

One, named only as 'E', told the Daily Dot: "Trying to mould an atrocious monstrosity into socially acceptable behaviours is repulsive.

"Obviously what [Planned Parenthood] does is a very ominous practice. It'll be interesting to see what surfaces when [Planned Parenthood] is stripped naked and exposed to the public."

Online the hackers posted: "We've noticed quite a lot of attention has been diverted to a supposedly malicious organization known as Planned Parenthood.

"The actions of this 'federation' are not seen as right in the eyes of the public. So here we are, the social justice warriors, seeking to reclaim some sort of lulz for the years and thousands of dollars that Planned Parenthood have wasted and made harvesting your babies."

A Planned Parenthood spokeswoman told CNN: "Anti-abortion extremists are willing to do anything to stop women from accessing the reproductive health care they are seeking.

"Extremists have broken laws, harassed our doctors and patients, produced hack videos, and now are claiming to have committed a gross invasion of privacy - one that, if true, could potentially put our staff members at risk."
