Florida pastor Rick Wiles is recovering from Covid-19-related pneumonia after being hospitalised for the virus following difficulties breathing.
An update on Wiles, 67, was posted on his website, TruNews.com, on 1st June stating he was being released from hospital later that day but that his wife Susan was still 'very fatigued'.
"My breathing is returning to normal. Pneumonia defeated. The worst is over. My deepest gratitude for all the prayers. I will share more later. On the darkest night the Holy Spirit gave me Psalm 118:17 for strength: I shall not die, but I shall live."
He added a number of his family members were struggling.
"Daughter in law Tiana was transported to the hospital very early this morning with extreme dehydration and vomiting. She's home now but Jeremy has now developed symptoms. Son-in-law Marshall is very weak. Grandson Blake too. Daughter Karissa not feeling great. Edward Szall is very sick. Three members of our team are recovering," he added.
Around a month ago Wiles said in an interview on TruNews he was "not going to be vaccinated."
"I'm going to be one of the survivors. I'm going to survive the genocide. I am not going to allow the Covid maniacs to convince me to be vaccinated or vaccinate me against my will."
"I know what I'm reading. I know what I'm seeing," Wiles said, adding "there is a mass death campaign underway right now" and "the only good thing that will come out of this is that a lot of stupid people will be killed off."
In January, the pastor reportedly said the spread of Covid-19 was God's way of disciplining China for having a godless communist government, according to NBC News.
