An Arkansas pastor, James Vincent Henry, aged 43, has been arrested and charged with 100 counts related to child pornography after a tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children led to an investigation.
Henry, the pastor of Crossroads Assembly of God Church in Delight and a former foster parent to 76 children, was taken into custody following a search of his home.
Authorities began investigating on 25th Sept when special agents from the Arkansas State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force executed a search warrant, the Christian Post reports.
The investigation reportedly uncovered evidence from digital devices and social media, leading to Henry's arrest.
He now faces charges of Possession, Viewing, and Distribution of Child Pornography and is being held at Pike County Detention Center.
Henry, who has been married for twelve years and has three children, served in various roles within the church community, including as a youth pastor at multiple churches and a foster parent for a transitional living programme for young women.
The investigation is ongoing as authorities continue to review evidence.
