A Bible given to OJ Simpson by Robert Kardashian – the father of Kim, Khloe and Kourtney – will be up for auction, alongside other items belonging to the former running back.

Kardashian, a top attorney, gifted Simspon the Bible, before representing him in the headline-grabbing trial for the murder of OJ’s ex-wife, Nicole Brown, and her friend Ron Goldman. Simpson was famously acquitted of the murders, but was sentenced to 33 years in prison in 2008 for armed burglary.

TMZ report that Kardashian gifted Simpson the Bible a day after he was arrested, to remind him that he – and God – loved him.

The holy book bears an inscription of Robert Kardashian's name on its front page. Simpson was the best man at Kardashian’s wedding to Kris Jenner, with both families remaining close until Nicole’s murder.

OJ Simpson died in 2017. His children have until February 26 to appeal the sale of them by Goldin Auctions LLC. Also up for sale will be a photo of Simpson and former president Bill Clinton.

Robert Kardashian passed away from cancer in 2003, four years before his ex-wife and daughters rocketed to celebrity status through their reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
