A man who was seated next to former Prime Minister Boris Johnson on a flight back from the World Economic Forum in Davos has said he took the opportunity to share the gospel with him.
Jeremiah J. Johnston, a digital creator and pastor in Christian apologetics, took to social media to share an exchange he had with Johnson during a flight from Switzerland. He said he took “the opportunity” presented to share the good news with Johnson, particularly highlighting “the overwhelming evidence” for Jesus’ resurrection.
Johnston continued by confirming that the politician had given him his phone number. Johnston assured followers that he would be following up with the former Conservative MP.
He urged readers to pray, reminding people of the “power of collective prayer”.
Johnston concluded by posting a photo of the pair smiling outside the plane, with Boris giving the camera a thumbs up.
Reactions to the post were largely encouraging, with many thanking the academic for taking the opportunity to share the gospel on the flight.
