Adam Sheafe, 51, has confessed to killing Pastor Bill Schonemann, 76, of New River Bible Chapel in Arizona, and revealed plans to "crucify" 14 other church leaders in what he called "Operation First Commandment."

Sheafe told FOX 10 he targeted Schonemann by waiting until a Wednesday night Bible study and later returning on Sunday to murder him.

He also stated he intended to kill two priests near Sedona’s Chapel of the Holy Cross before being apprehended.

When asked, he showed no remorse: “Put me on death row, set the execution date for right now… I want it, and the taxpayers want it.”

Charged with first-degree murder, Sheafe now awaits trial while investigators assess the possibility of the death penalty.
