New polling data affirms that the majority of White Evangelicals have been vaccinated.

A poll conducted by NBC News reveals that most Evangelicals received the vaccine. Specifically, 59 percent of White Evangelical respondents claim that they have been fully vaccinated. While this report significantly increased the Evangelical responses compared to earlier months, it is still lower than the average. In NBC's poll, only 69 percent of adults have received a vaccine.

This data corroborates with several prior surveys on the subject. In June, a study organized by the Public Religion Research Institute (PRRI) and the Interfaith Youth Core revealed that 56 percent of White Evangelicals had either been vaccinated or planned on doing so.

Internal resistance among conservative White Evangelicals has been steadily decreasing. It will likely continue to do so as the various vaccines are validated by the FDA and other medical officials. 

That same data shifted based on a multitude of demographics. Sixty-six percent of white respondents reported that they had been vaccinated instead of 71 percent of Latinos and 76 percent of Blacks. When it came to housing, rural residents were the least likely to be vaccinated at 52 percent. Urban residents, in contrast, were 79 percent vaccinated.

Voting habits were also consistent predictors of vaccination rates. While 88 percent of Democrats had received the vaccine, only 55 percent of Republicans had done the same. Internally, party politics were also a predictor. While Sanders/Warren voters and Biden voters were vaccinated similarly, adherence to Trumpian politics was also a reasonably helpful predictor. Republicans who support Trump more than the party were only 46 percent vaccinated. In comparison, Republicans who preferred the party were 62 percent vaccinated.
