According to the London Evening Standard Joey appeared on the Celebrity Juice: Massive Election Special show hosted by Keith Lemon and made the error when the host asked the guests which they would rather have - "Joey Essex's brain or Rylan Clark's teeth".
It was reported Joey wanted to show he could answer anything after his recent show focusing on general election and different parties policies on 'Educating Joey Essex: General Election'.
Joey said: "Ask me any question you want," to which show regular Fearne Cotton asked "Who is Jesus' mum?"
Joey replied "Moses."
It was reported that he made a similar blunder in 2013 whilst taking part in a school scene with former Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan, when he though 'Zeesus' was the name of Jesus' mother.
