A pastor who is also a senior politician in Guernsey has been remanded in custody after being charged with multiple criminal offences including the possession of indecent images of children.
Jonathan Le Tocq has now resigned from the island’s Policy and Resources Committee but remains a member of the States Assembly.
He’s been charged with possessing thousands of indecent images of children, possessing extreme pornography and offences relating to the misuse of telecommunications.
The 61 year old, who is married with three children and three grandchildren is due to appear in court on 15 September.
