Donald Trump poses with 'Antichrist' pastor

by Hannah Tooley

Following the murder of 49 people in a gay club in Orlando last weekend Mr Trump has been speaking about his support for LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights).

Pastor Robert Jeffress, a Dallas preacher, said that he is "Honored to pray for my friend, @realDonaldTrump, at tonight's Dallas rally."

In May Mr Jeffress described the proposed rules allowing transgender people in the USA more rights "society's rebellion against the plan of God."

He added that this posed a "greater threat to America" than Islamic State.

According to The Telegraph the First Baptist Church pastor said in 2015 that the LGBT rights movement "will pave the way for that future world dictator, the Antichrist, to persecute and martyr Christians without any repercussions whatsoever."

Trump has voiced opposing opinions about LGBT people in the past claiming he supports gay rights but also that he does not support same-sex marriage.

Americans vote on their next President in November 2016, Trump is up against Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton.
