A Christian construction company fired Logan Dorn, a man whose faith and connection to the Holy Spirit reportedly caused him to harass women over their bathing suits at a public Colorado beach.
Mighty Hand Construction is a family-owned company in Colorado that promises ethical building practices built upon respect, integrity, and truth. Mighty Hand posted on Facebook that "one of our employees, Logan Dorn, was accused of harassing a group of individuals over the weekend in Northern Colorado. In response, the company began an investigation into Dorn's conduct and immediately decided to fire Dorn."
The harassment was caught on video when Dorn decided to visit a beach. He approached several women to tell them that their bathing suits were "pornographic" and not appropriate. When asked why he was doing this, Dorn stated that he felt a "righteous anger" and a "boldness by the Holy Spirit to go in to confront" the women over their decisions. His comments included statements like how they were "flaunting their stuff" and deriding them because "your whole body is showing".
When the women told him to leave them alone, Dorn is reported to have responded by saying, "Here's the thing, there's free will in America, there's freedom of speech." Dorn did not respond to criticism, instead stating on his TikTok that he was "stating truth." Later videos would also record Dorn making derogatory comments regarding transgender individuals, and declining to apologize for his conduct. "I'm not going to apologize. I'm just going to say, I'm going to continue to stay on on the truth, I'm I continue to stand on the Word of God. Our society is on such a downclimb of morality of pornography and lust is at an all time all-time high."
Mighty Hand Construction notes in their Facebook post that this sort of conduct is not acceptable. "Mighty Hand Construction does not condone Logan's behavior in the videos, nor do his actions reflect our values as a company. Mighty Hand strives to be a place of business where all are treated with utmost respect and acceptance, and actions by our employees which go against those values will not be tolerated."
