Details of the plans for his funeral are expected in the coming days but it's hoped a big celebration could be held at the famous London church which hosted similar events for Ronnie Corbett and Sir Terry Wogan.
Sir Bruce died on Friday, aged 89, after suffering from pneumonia.
Tributes were paid from across the entertainment industry.
Newspaper reports suggest the family are considering the option of a large scale memorial service.
Former culture secretary John Whittingdale said: "He is such a huge figure in the life of the nation - I would hope that as many people as possible will be able to pay their respects to such a much-loved figure."
Meanwhile it's claimed councillors in his home area of Edmonton, north-east London, are considering putting up a statue of him.
