A British pensioner is being investigated in Majorca over claims he molested a 13-year-old girl at a Mass service.
The young girl reported being touched on her bottom and back by the 83-year-old expat whilst queueing to receive communion at a Catholic church in Alcudia. She says he continued to touch her whist she was holding a disabled lady’s wheelchair at the service.
The girl's parents told police they found their daughter crying after receiving communion.
According to the Mirror, police tracked down the suspect 15 minutes later at a market.
The man is reported to be from Glasgow, and declined to answer questions as he was ordered to attend his nearest Civil Guard station.
He now awaits a court summons, as a judge reviews the case.
Law firm Raso & Asociados are representing him.
The man’s son has reported that he saw nothing untoward at the church service.
