Jonathan Lotz, grandson of the late Rev. Billy Graham, has been released from the intensive care unit after being admitted due to complications from being infected with Covid-19.
Last weekend, Jonathan's mother, Anne Graham Lotz had reported that Jonathan had to go into intensive care due to Covid-19, and asked her followers for their prayers. On Wednesday, Anne Graham posted on Facebook that her son had been released as of Wednesday. He will be going into rehab after all of that. "Thank you for carrying Jonathan on your knees! Please continue to pray he will go from strength to strength with no permanent side effects."
Jonathan is one of three adult children belonging to Anne Graham Lotz and Danny Lotz (deceased), and currently serves as an ordained minister in North Carolina.
Jonathan Lotz was previously employed at the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Park Cities Presbyterian Church. He runs Jonathan Lotz Ministries presently, "an evangelistic ministry committed to preaching the Word of God and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a world in need of hope." The ministry often allows him to travel the country and speak at various locations about the Gospel.
Anne Graham Lotz founded her personal organization AnGel Ministries in Raleigh, NC, which aims to bring expository preaching to her followers and to call people into "a personal relationship with God through His Word."
