A Bible verse painted onto a parking space at a High School in Florida, USA has offended a Jewish employee of the school.
Marina Gentilesco works as an instructional assistant at Wiregrass Ranch High School in Pasco County, Florida. She told news outlet Fox 59 she feels the verse is "attacking" her.
"I feel like it's attacking me as a Jew.
"It brings me to the verge of tears, because it brings me back to the six million that perished because of our faith because we're Jews."
The passage taken from the New Testament, Philippians 4:13 spray painted onto the parking space reads: "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me."
The school have not removed the verse, instead they citied freedom of expression.
Public information officer Stephen Hegarty for Pasco County Schools told Fox 59: "It's not a violation, this is personal expression."
"It's just a teacher expressing themselves just like they might wear a crucifix on their shirt.
"Teachers and students are free to express themselves.
