Bible Gateway has confirmed that its services are currently unavailable to users in the UK and European Union because of “technical issues.”
In a statement posted on its website, the online Bible platform, which provides access to dozens of Bible translations, study tools and devotionals, apologised for the inconvenience.
It added: “Paid Bible Gateway Plus account users in these regions should receive a refund for their subscription no later than September 15, 2025. If you have not received a refund by this date, please reach out to Customer Service.”
Bible Gateway also confirmed that saved account data, including notes, highlights and reading progress, will no longer be accessible.
The platform has not yet given a timeline for when services will be restored, but said it is “working on a new solution.”
