30 Days of Prayer begins for Ramadan

by Aaron James

Churches in Europe have been reporting mass baptisms of Muslim migrants coming to Europe who have become Christians.

During Ramadan Muslims traditionally fast between dawn and dusk in solidarity with the poor, who're often unable to eat, and also to grow closer to God.

Speaking with Premier David Garrison, who wrote the book 'A Wind in the House of Islam', said: "Out of 14 centuries of Muslim-Christian interaction... 84 percent of the movements that've happened in history have happened in the last 24 years... It was 24 years ago that we began the 30 Days of Prayer for the Muslim World.

"It was astounding how many Muslims from one end of the Muslim world to the other reported having had dreams and dream-filled encounters with the Christ.

"I was able to gather more than a 1000 interviews, each of them from movements which had at least a thousand baptised believers and in some cases tens of thousands of baptised believers.

"That for them was a statement of a willingness to die for Christ, because within the Muslim scheme of things any decision to convert... is a capital offence."
