The Christian family festival Word Alive has been cancelled in April.
The conference usually takes place on the north Wales coast on a holiday resort and was meant to have speakers David Cook and Becky Pippert, with Olly Knight leading the music.
Director Nigel Beynon said: "We are very sorry to have to confirm that Word Alive 2020 will not be taking place.
"We have just been informed by Pontins that they are closing all of their holiday parks on Friday 20th March due to the coronavirus outbreak. It seems they will remain closed until at least the end of April and therefore Word Alive cannot go ahead.
"While we don't know details I expect recent changes of government advice about mass gatherings and social distancing have driven their decision. And while we are very sad and disappointed not to meet together, we are also grateful for the decision which prioritises both guest and team health and safety.
"We are very grateful for those who have supported us with prayer and expressions of encouragement over the last few uncertain days.
"When we have received more information from Pontins we will be able to lay out a way forward in terms of finances and refunds. We hope to be in touch with those details at some point next week.
