A church’s CCTV footage in the US city of Nashville has caught the explosion that rocked locals on Christmas day.
The blast occurred at around 6.30 am and it is believed it was intentional.
Officers were responding to reports of shooting in the area when they encountered a van with a recording warning that a bomb would detonate in 15 minutes giving them time to evacuate the area.
The footage circulating on social media from Cross Point Church shows a bright flash of light followed by a column of smoke.
Three people were injured in the explosion.
At least 41 buildings were damaged and human remains were found in the wreckage. US investigators have identified a person of interest in connection with the blast and are searching a house in the city's suburbs
People have praised the rapid response by officials. Christian singer Carrie Underwood took to Twitter to add her own congratulations to the officials for their quick actions.
Nashville is currently under lockdown and the Federal Aviation Association has issued a temporary flight restriction around the airport, requiring pilots to follow strict procedures until 30th December.
