The pastor who officiated Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding has offered forgiveness and an internship to the people who stole his car.

Rich Wilkerson Jr, who leads Vous Church in Miami, Florida, said the car was recently stolen from his driveway, in an incident that felt "a little scary" and "invasive".

In a video he posted on Instagram on Valentine's Day, he said the car was found two days later and he wanted to show whoever the suspects are "love".

"Whoever you are that took our car, we think about three of you… I'll let you know we love you," he said.

"We're for you, and thank you for leaving it somewhere that we could find it. But here's the deal… If you keep doing stuff like this life is not going to be good for you. You're going to spend probably forever in prison."

The pastor challenged the suspects to attend a Vous Church service on Sunday and identify themselves as someone who took part in the theft. Wilkerson said rather than press charges, he would let them be an intern at the church.

He added: "I will not pay you, you did steal my car. But for three months, I'm going to mentor you and I actually believe if you give us three months of your life, your life will be changed, you'll be on a much, much better path.

"And I think you can take this really bad thing that happened and we could turn into a good thing. I'm not going to prosecute you, not going to press charges. I actually want to love you and actually want to give you an opportunity."

The pastor has not said if the suspects have come forward to take up the challenge.
