by Premier Journalist

A leading UK Bible college has achieved a perfect score in a recent National Student Survey (NSS). Moorlands College in Christchurch, Dorset, achieved 100 per cent overall student satisfaction for their undergraduate programmes.

In addition, students scored 99 oer cent satisfaction in the category of teaching, 98 per cent in learning opportunities 98 per cent and 97 per cent for academic support.

In a press release, the college said: "We’d like to take this opportunity to celebrate our staff. Our knowledgeable, warm, determined and resilient staff team have gone above and beyond this year. They’ve ensured that our students continue to enjoy and thrive in their studies despite the challenges that COVID-19 has brought to everyday life.

"Thank you to our lecturing staff, learning assistance team, tutors and Chaplains for being role models and source of strength and support for our students in this season. Thank you for our operational team for ensuring that we can still run effectively and for many of you working tirelessly behind the scenes.

"You’ve all ensured that we can continue to equip our students with the knowledge and skills they need to impact the Church and wider world. We’re beyond grateful."

Speaking to Premier, the executive director of Moorlands College, Andy du Feu said: "It's been a really trying time through lockdown, having to deliver online, so to get 100% satisfaction when it hasn't been ideal by a long shot...we're just so encouraged.

"It does reflect on such an incredible student body as well, many of whom are current Christian leaders and future Christian leaders, so we're really excited and proud of our student body who have just really encouraged us in this way."

Moorlands offers a selection of courses including a BA in Applied Theology, a Diploma of Higher Education Applied Theology (Youth Studies), and an MA in Language, Community and Development. Alongside its flagship campus in Dorset, the non-denominational college has regional centres in Devon, Birmingham and Belfast.
