Authorities in South Sudan have forced a major Christian radio station to shut down and arrested its News Editor.
According to news sources Radio Bakhita was closed after it reported clashes between government forces and opposition fighters.
The station was supported by the Archdiocese of Juba.
The News Editor, Ochan David Nicholas, is still being held in custody.
Since the fighting between troops loyal to President Salva Kiir and the opposition linked to former Vice President Riek Machar began in December several media outlets have been forced to close.
