Thousands of students have attended a Christian revival event in Kentucky with many giving their lives to Christ as a result.
Over 8000 undergraduates attended the event at the University of Kentucky on wednesday with over 2000 responding to the gospel and many being baptised on the spot.
Jennie Allen, a speaker for Unite US and founder of IF:Gathering, put it plainly: "Revival is here."
Unite US began in 2023 at Auburn University, where 5,000 students gathered in worship, and 200 were spontaneously baptised in a nearby lake. Since then, Unite US has held massive worship gatherings across the nation, drawing 70,000 college students in total.
Their first event this year took place at Rupp Arena with more than 8,000 students filling the arena, worshiping and responding to the gospel.
"Every time they are confessing their sin, they are yelling it out. They are responding to the gospel in herds. Like droves of kids are coming forward to receive Jesus," continued Allen.
"We are baptising kids for an hour and a half."
Abigail Robertson is the White House Correspondent for CBN News was there and said this:
"I've never seen anything like what happened last night. Kids lining up to get baptised in 30-degree weather—it’s truly amazing!"
"Many times, God will use our deepest pain to propel us into our deepest purpose," shared Unite US founder Tonya Prewett.
By the night’s end, hundreds had made a public commitment to Jesus.
The event comes in the face of increasing evidence that Gen Z - those born between 1995 and 2009- are not spiritually apathetic but actively sympathetic to faith.
