Pope Francis has accepted an invitation to speak at the European Parliament.
The pontiff was asked to give a speech to the assembly in Strasbourg by the European Parliament President.
A special session will be held on November 25 for the Holy Father to give his address.
The visit is days before a rumoured trip by the Pope to Turkey.
Vatican officials will not comment on suggestions Francis could visit the country on November 30 to mark a Christian Holy Day there.
There's still been no official invitation but if the Pope does go it could mean he'd visit refugee camps housing persecuted Iraqi Christians.
