A video of a Houston pastor playing his piano in his flooded home is being shared across the world as a sign of hope in the midst of darkness for the Texan city
Like thousands of others there, Aric Harding's home is filled with water, but the piano is still standing.
Aric Harding posted the clip on social media site Instagram with a short message.
He said: "I think it's all finally sinking in a little. What we used to have going as a city is gone.
"I really think God is going to do something completely new here. I am excited to see the new beauty in the suffering."
In the video he jokes that the piano will need to be re-tuned.
The clip has been shown on BBC and CNN amongst other media outlets.
