OJ Simpson’s estate have blocked Kim Kardashian from buying a Bible signed by her late father.
The Bible was up for auction, along with other items from the footballer’s private collection. It had been given to OJ by Robert Kardashian – his lawyer and a close personal friend – the day after his arrest on suspicion of Nicole Brown’s murder.
The Bible was sold alongside a note in Robert’s handwriting: “OJ, this book will help. God loves and he will speak to you with his words. Read this book every day. God has a definite plan for your life. You are his child and he will use you again. I love you and God loves you."
RadarOnline report that Kim Kardashian attempted to buy the holy book at auction, but was denied from doing so by the executor of the estate, Malcom LaVergne.
An emailed obtained by TMZ reveals that Kim offered to pay $15,000 for the Bible. It sold for $80,000 (£62,000).

LaVergne alleges that he would have been “insane” to accept the offer, as he was operating under contract to cover civil lawsuit payments to the families of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.
The executor said he would “rack up” the amount offered by Kardashian in attorney fees alone.
Robert Kardashian passed away from oesophageal cancer in September 2003, aged 59. The following year, his ex-wife and daughters shot to TV fame, with their Calabases-based reality show.
