Podcaster Joe Rogan has said he enjoys attending church and believes Christianity shouldn’t be dismissed as fantasy.

Speaking with commentator Konstantin Kisin, Rogan said he loves being around Christians who want to study Scripture together.

“I don’t think it’s nothing,” he told listeners, adding that many people who call the Bible a fairy tale aren’t as intelligent as they think.

Rogan said Christianity fascinates him because it centers on Jesus. “It’s a historically documented human being — that’s where it gets weird,” he said.

He also suggested the Resurrection makes more sense to him than the Big Bang, saying: “I’m sticking with Jesus on that one.”
