'Jesus Won' - Baseball champions Rangers wear t-shirts praising Christ for sports ultimate prize

by Premier Journalist

After Texas Rangers won their first-ever World Series baseball championship, many of the players and coaches have publicly attributed their success in the postseason to God.

Coach Tony Beasley expressed his gratitude, stating, "Anyone that interviews me or gives me an opportunity to speak, God's going to receive the glory.

Throughout the season, the Rangers' faith was frequently made public. Third baseman Josh Jung's bio on social media reads, "Baseball is what I do, not who I am," and "Competitor for Christ."

He's shared his journey of faith, stating, "I gave my life to Christ my freshman year of high school, and then my freshman year of college was the first time I took that step of a personal journey with Him."

Outfielder Evan Carter and his wife, Kaylen, partnered with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes to sell "Jesus Won" T-shirts, with proceeds benefiting their community in Carter County, Tennessee.

The Rangers' pitcher, Jose Leclerc, also made a bold statement with the "Jesus Won" T-shirt, testifying to his faith during the World Series.

The Rangers were also the only MLB team that refused to host an LGBTQ pride night, expressingthing gratitude to the league for honouring their conviction.
