Italian Jesuit priest kidnapped in Syria

It's believed Al Qaeda-linked fighters in Syria have kidnapped an Italian Jesuit priest.

Reports claim Father Paolo Dall'Oglio was taken while he was walking in a rebel-held eastern Syrian city.

He was expelled from the country last year for helping victims of President Bashar al-Assad's military crackdown. International Lawyer and Church Consultant Dr Harry Hagopian knows the priest well.  He told Premier's News Hour he's very outspoken:

Two bishops who disappeared earlier this year in northern Syria still haven't been found.

For a monthly gift of $11 or more we’d also be able to send you a free copy of the brand new Premier Bible, a wonderful Anglicised version of the NLT packed with exclusive bonus content, reading plan and resources to help you get the most out of scripture.

Your monthly support will make a world of difference. Thank you.
