Healing ministry agrees sale of building to fast growing UK church

by Marcus Jones

Ellel Ministries has confirmed the sale of its Pierrepoint Centre to the Redeemed Christian Church of God network.

Earlier this year, the Ellel group, which focuses on healing, announced it was looking to sell the centre as part of a pruning process.

In a statement, Ellel said: "First established in Nigeria, RCCG is a rapidly expanding denomination with over 870 churches in the UK alone and a presence in over 190 countries around the world. They have a real heart for healing and discipleship and are excited to be establishing their ministry at Pierrepont – building on what has been done through Ellel Ministries over the last 29 years.

"We have met with the RCCG national leadership a number of times and have been impressed with their heart for the Lord, their humility and their faith. Both ministries are sure that God is in this, and we continue to work together towards the completion of the sale process. We would so appreciate it if you would keep this in your prayers."

Funds from the sale will be used to pay off mortgages and restore other buildings currently used by Ellel.

Pierrepont was bought in 1995 with a vision to welcome people from all over the world to be healed, trained and equipped for serving in many branches of Christian ministry.
