Gospel does great at The Grammys

The award ceremony which was attended by A-list celebrities such as Jay Z, Beyonce, Sam Smith and Rhianna was an eventful night filled with an array of talent. With that being said, gospel artists still managed to stand out.

Erica Campbell proved there is no slowing down since the split of Mary Mary who were famed for their smash hit 'Shackles'.

Erica picked up the Grammy for Best Gospel Album for her studio recorded LP 'Help'.

Christian hip-hop artist Lecrae - who is a previous winner - picked up number two for his single 'Messengers' which featured indie rock band For King and Country. Lecrae won the Grammy for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song.

Smokie Norful and Mike Farris finished off the run by winning awards for Best Gospel performance and Best Roots Gospel album respectively.
