God has looked after me, says Sir Cliff

by Aaron James

The Christian singer said God has looked after him and that he's feeling stronger already.

He's suing the BBC and South Yorkshire Police after a raid on his home was broadcast on national television in 2014, despite him never being arrested or charged.

The Crown Prosecution Service decided in June that Sir Cliff would not face further action after allegations of abuse, said to have taken place between 1958 and 1983, were made by four men.

An appeal against the the CPS' ruling was made but it confirmed the ruling would stand last month.

Sir Cliff has said he's forgiven the people who falsely accused him.

Speaking to Hello magazine, he said: "My faith played a major part. God has looked after me and I'm more aware of that fact now.

"They say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger and I'm trusting that is true. I'm feeling stronger already."
