Julie Mortimer, of Busy Needle tailors, rejigged a previous bishop's jacket for Rt Revd Rachel Treweek - the Bishop of Gloucester and the first female diocesan bishop.
For good measure, Mrs Mortimer also designed and made two blouses, three cummerbunds and a skirt for Rt Revd Treweek.
She also gave Bishop Rachel a set of antique collar studs which belonged to her grandfather to complete the ensemble.
Speaking about her creations, she said: "It has been an honour, a privilege and a pleasure to design these clothes for Bishop Rachel. It was so exciting to work for her and the customers really enjoyed coming in when she was with us."
Bishop Rachel said: "I am delighted to have discovered Busy Needle and am very grateful to Julie for her creativity and skill."
She's already been able to try out the new ensemble, wearing it at a special dinner for the Anglican Church in the City of London last week.
