The Baptist congregation in Hebden Bridge will, from today, meet at the local pub after it was left under 15 inches of water during storms in December.
Gerard Liston from the church told Premier it won't be the only unusual location used in the coming weeks.
He said: "We expect to be popping up in different ways and in different places around the town, in ways which we hope will be relevant to the spiritual and emotional needs."
It's not known how long the church building will be unavailable but Mr Liston added that he thought people would be surprised how quickly the church had found new ways to meet.
He said the pub was providing the facility free of charge.
"We're very pleased about that because in losing the premises we've actually lost literally all our income from room uses and events which we've had to now cancel."
